What kind of protein is in nurishID®?

For NurishID, We use a combination of whey isolate, whey concentrate and whey peptides (not casein) from grass-fed cows. This gives our NurishID a “cleaner” taste and that helps reduce digestion issues such as water retention, stomach cramping, lethargy and a host of other discontenting conditions associated with cheaper protein Ingredients. For NurishID Vegan, We use a carefully selected blend of 6 plant-based protein sources delivers a complimentary nutrient profile that optimizes bioavailability and absorption.

Does NurishID whey protein contain the hormones rbgh or bst?

Our whey is produced from original herds of cows that are not given recombinant bovine growth hormone (RBGH) or bovine somatotropin. Our protein also comes only from grass-fed cows.

Does NurishID contain dairy?

NurishID contains whey protein that comes from milk; however the process removes 99.9% of the milk by-product, therefore making the shake virtually casein and lactose free, but technically not dairy-free. NurishID Vegan does not contain whey protein, so it will not contain the milk by-product.

Why do you add chia to NurishID?

Chia is rich in nutrients. When it inter-fuses with the protein and liquid, it creates a SuperFood that helps stimulate your metabolism, nourish your body and satisfy your hunger, so you can reach your weight management goals. *Our Chia has gone through a patented micro-milled technology that opens the seed without losing any of the nutritional properties. This micro-milled process makes the nutrition in Chia easier for your body to absorb.

Why does the packaging state nurishID contains soy, when it's not listed in the ingredients?

In a reversal of an earlier opinion, the FDA has decided that all instantized whey proteins must contain a warning for soy on the label because lecithin is a naturally occurring ingredient in the manufacturing process. Although it is present only during the whey extraction phase of the process in trace amounts, and undetectable in the final formula by testing procedures currently available, since soy is on the list of food allergies, the FDA has determined that all instantized whey products must contain the warning.

Is stevia safe to use?

Yes, stevia was approved for sale in the United States in December 2008.
